British designer Corinna Warm has created the Slip Lamps.
The lamps consists of a double layered ceramic lampshade revealing a warm light-emitting bone china underskirt, beneath a black, earthenware coat. They are made in the World Capital of Ceramics: Stoke on Trent, celebrating English Heritage and the nation’s pottery industry. Both inner and outer layers are slip cast using the same mould, the outer is then pierced using a profiled punch. They feature red twisted three core cords.
